About Aki

こんにちは！Ko-n-ni-chi-wa!

Hello! I'm Aki, a native Japanese teacher certified by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in Japan. I've completed 420 hours of training. I am living in Tokyo but I've spent several years abroad.

For over 15 years, I've taught Japanese to students worldwide in person and via Zoom and Skype. I have both local and international students. If you're outside Japan, we can coordinate a suitable time for our online sessions, considering the time difference.

We'll use reputable textbooks like GENKI and MINNA NO NIHONGO. I can teach from beginner to advanced levels. If you want to focus on conversation for improving your speaking skills, that's a great way to enhance your Japanese!

I enjoy yoga (I'm also a certified yoga and pilates teacher), working out, cooking, and watching movies. Students often describe me as responsible and patient.
